JOB 12-14 JOBS’ RESPONSE: GOD IS IN CONTROL, HE KNOWS

CHAPTER 12

Jobs’ response here is so clear in the first few verses of this chapter

I am a laughingstock to my friends

I, who called to God and He heard me,

a just and blameless man, am a laughingstock

then again he turns to creation to the animals of it, and says

They know too, but fools don’t

then around vs. 22 and following he gives

an international focus to the rise and fall of nations

Western nations today are seeing their societies crumble

CHAPTER 13

The Theme in this chapter :  should God slay me, I still hope in him.

I can argue my plight to His face, but the godless have no entrance with him

Fairly plain language
